Here is a hot chutney for your dosa or idly as a side dish.
Ingredients
Onion | 1 medium |
Chilly Powder | 1/2tsp |
Coconut Oil | 2tsp |
Mustard Seeds | 1/4tsp |
Curry Leaves | 1 string |
Asafoetida Powder | A pinch |
Salt | As per taste |
Water | As required |
Method
Cut the onion into small pieces. Heat a pan and add oil and do the seasoning. Add onion pieces and sauté till onion turns transparent. Add the chilly powder and salt. Add required amount of water to make the gravy thick. Add a pinch of Asafoetida powder and bring to a boil. Put off flame and serve along idly or dosa.
