Ulli/Onion Pakoda

Ingredients

Savala (Big Onion)             250 gms
Chilly powder                      2tsp
Asefotida powder               1/4tsp
Besan Flour                           1cup
Turmeric powder               1/4tsp
Oil                                              To fry
Salt                                            To taste
Curry leaves/Coriander
leaves                                        As required

Method
Cut onion into thin slices.Add besan flour, salt, chilly powder, asefotida powder,turmeric powder,curry leaves and 1tsp oil to it.Mix thoroughly.Make a thick batter.Add a little water if required.Heat oil in a pan and deep fry. Serve hot with green chutny or tomato sauce.
